1. How do I receive college savings from dining?
You receive contributions by dining at participating restaurants when they are offering college savings and paying with a credit or debit card that you have registered in your Upromise account. You can confirm which cards are validated for dining by checking your profile on your My Account page. You are not required to identify yourself as a Upromise member to the participating restaurant. In order to receive the maximum college savings, you must register as a Preferred Diner. This is a separate registration process that takes only a minute to complete and is valid for 12 months from the time you register.

To receive your college savings, be sure to pay your bill with a credit or debit card that you have registered in your Upromise account that has been validated for Upromise Dining. (If you have credit or debit cards enrolled in other programs administered by Rewards Network, you will not earn Upromise contributions on those cards.) You can confirm which cards are validated for Upromise Dining by checking your Profile in your My Account page.

Not all restaurants accept all types of credit and debit cards. The cards accepted at any given restaurant are generally listed in the Credit Cards section of the restaurant information page. If you are in doubt about a restaurant’s card acceptance, please call the restaurant directly.

You can find information about college savings at any participating restaurant, including restrictions (if any), by clicking on the name of the restaurant on the restaurant search results page or on the ’view restaurant details’ link.

2. Do participating restaurants offer members a full range of cuisine choices?
Yes. Upromise Dining offers dozens of cuisine categories. Cuisine categories are listed alphabetically, and Search Results can be sorted to include only specific cuisines of interest to you for your upcoming plans. There’s even a separate category for Bars & Clubs. When searching for benefits, just select your cuisine of choice to find a location in the area that meets your needs.

3. How do I earn college savings tonight?
Follow these steps and you will receive your college savings automatically. Remember, you must be registered as a Preferred Diner in order to receive the maximum amount of college savings.

5. I dined the other day. How do I know I received my savings?

No. Once you have registered your credit card for the Upromise Dining program, you earn contributions automatically. There is no need to tell your server that you are a Upromise member.

8. Is there a limit on the savings amount I can get at participating restaurants?
Yes, most restaurants have a maximum spending amount on which they will award college savings each month. The maximum spend amount is usually $600 or $1,000 monthly, depending on the restaurant. So, a restaurant that offers 8% college saving and has a maximum benefit spend of $1,000 will award up to $80 in college savings each month.

9. Can I receive Upromise Dining Program savings as well as other dining program rewards through Rewards Network?
